Known for our scholarship and research in the field of finance, this concentration connects you with some of the world’s leading minds on the subject and delivers state-of-the-art techniques for financial analysis. You will learn to solve important corporate finance challenges and formulate conclusions based on the industry’s many databases and financial market indicators.

Finance is the Simon’s School’s most popular concentration. There are approximately 20 faculty who focus in this area. This includes many of the world’s leading scholars in financial economics, as well as a number of successful practitioners. There are two required core courses, and an additional three courses are to be taken from an extensive list of electives which makes this concentration highly flexible. Many of these electives are closely related but outside of the Finance area, leveraging Simon Business School’s cross-functional approach.
