YOUR CAREER SEARCH STARTS EVEN BEFORE YOUR PROGRAM DOES

Before you even arrive on campus, you’ll begin your Simon experience with specially designed online training, which explores important topics, including internship and job search strategies, professional networking, and developing your interview pitch. It’s your first step to a new level of career preparedness with expert coaching and professional development classes to help you prepare for your job search.

YOUR CAREER ACTION TEAM

Once you arrive on campus, you’ll be placed in your Career Action Team (CAT), small groups made up of students with similar career interests, as well as members of the Benet CMC and Office of Student Engagement. Alumni often join the mix too, providing insights into your desired field.

By networking with your classmates and sharing your job search experiences, you and your team members will make one another stronger candidates. You’ll also work with a Simon Career Consultant and a Simon Career Advisor, who will guide you on everything from exploring your job options to writing cover letters. Combined, these career search resources will help you stand out and position you to succeed.

CAREER-MANAGEMENT PROGRAMMING

Many of our graduates credit the Benet CMC with helping them execute job search strategies, prepare for interviews, and negotiate employment offers.
