Ph.D. Admissions

Application Deadline: January 15th

Our doctoral program accepts full-time students only. Admissions decisions are made in the spring quarter. The following are required to complete your application:

  • Completed and submitted on-line application by January 15th. To Apply Click Here for On-Line Application.
  • Official transcripts for all university level coursework for which a grade was received. Official transcripts must be stamped and sealed by the issuing institution. Please have all transcripts mailed to the address listed below.
  • Two letters of recommendation are required. These may be submitted either electronically via our on-line application or by mail. We will consider additional recommendations, however please note that if you have more than two recommenders, the additional letters will need to be mailed directly to the contact address listed below (as our on-line system only has space for two). Any recommendation mailed in should be sealed and signed across the seal by the recommender prior to mailing.
  • Two completed essays submitted via the on-line application (see on-line application).
  • A current resume is required to be submitted via the on-line application.
  • An official test score report less than five-years old (sent to us directly from ETS - GRE or GMAT). Our GMAT reporting code is WX9-8R-41. Our TOEFL reporting code is 8168-02. Our GRE code is 2961. For applicants who took the GRE in the Peoples Republic of China, GMAT scores are also required.
  • For applicants whose first language is not English and who have not received a degree from an English-speaking institution, an official TOEFL test score report less than two years old from ETS (TOEFL). If you will receive a degree from an English speaking institution prior to July 2010, you may waive the TOEFL score requirement.
  • The non-refundable USD $125 application fee (waived for applications with a GMAT scores above 680 or a GRE score whose combined average is 700 or above). If your GMAT or GRE score qualifies you for the fee waiver, please select the waiver option for payment when submitting your on-line application. The waiver will then be verified when we receive your official test score report.
