My teaching and research interests include business analytics, organizational issues in management of information systems, the information technology industry and financial information systems. I have won three Best Paper Awards for research, done in collaboration with colleagues at the Simon School, in the use of information systems standards in organizations, redesign of business processes and management of Web sites. My current research interests include decision and business analytics, marketing on the Internet, the Internet industry, strategic use of technology, the use of standards in managing information systems, and accounting and financial information systems. My papers have appeared in the Journal ofComputing, Management Science, Decision Support Systemsand IEEE Transactions on Computers, among other journals.
My background in technology and economics gives me particular strength in teaching inter-disciplinary courses such as Business Analytics, Economics of Information Management and Financial Information Systems. Matching my research in Ecommerce and Internet, I have taught Intro. to Business Analytics, Managing Electronic Commerce Technology, Marketing on the Internet, and Electronic Commerce Strategy.
